Bad services and bad buiding.
I only satisfied with the location of the hotel, nothing else is good.
The service is bad.
Outdated rooms, bad neighborhood, unfriendly staff, way too pricey for what you receive
The location is convenient for commuting to Manhatton. The room had everything we needed for a short stay. We only used Econo to sleep at, unless you are a trucking enthusiast there's not much to see near the lodge. The overall plus point of this place is the price. We commuted to nyc every day of our 3 day stay without too many delays or issues. Apart from the very frustrating delay of the 24hr airport shuttle bus. We became particularly frustrated waking for the bus from Newark International. The average wait time we experiences was about 50minutes. After a couple of days we sussed out that it was cheaper to get a taxi from the lodge to Newark Penn station ($25) then purchase a nj transit ticket to ny Penn Station ($5). overall this hotel did the job we picked it for.
The shuttle bus service delays. The Free breakfast was nice but the voucher doesn't include orange juice which we found rather odd?
They could not find my reservation and they charge me more then price that I booked on line
near the airport.Easy to find.
Noisy like any other hotels near airport.facillties is simple, breakfast in a restrant nearby, wifi is...slow
It has free shuttle to/from airport
Its not good for solo travellers - not safe as anyone can enter the rooms since area is open. I paid more than what was quoted on the website even with the tax that was added to the website cost. I arrived and my reservation was cancelled because it had passed 4pm when I arrived at the hotel - this was not on the website that if you check in after 4pm then your original reservation is cancelled and they give you a new reservation with a new cost attached to that. I had a king size bed and it took up the whole space in the room.
i got my credit card stament and the hotel took out $85.00 over the price without my sign I want to know why?
Very friendly service! Shuttle always running to and from airport, making it an easy way to get into an out of NYC.
hot breakfast served, reasonable price and great location.
The room was old.
If you need just to spent night for early connection flight and all you need is just bed and shower - this is absolutely reasonable choice.
link to hotel site was wrong.
The price was great, did not have any complaints at all for our stay. It was clean, had good tv, They provided us with a refrigerator & Micro wave for our week stay. Bed was comfortable & clean.
Only the ease of getting to and from the airport.
It seemed very shabby and needed updating. The air conditioner was very noisy. It appeared to be a questionable area of the city.
It's hard to tell. There was nothing that I liked.
Not worth $70+ per night. When trying to check in, they couldn’t find the reservation made on Booked.net. They gave us a room but a smoking one. We’d asked for non-smoking. The room itself was horrendous. Dirty and smelly. The bathroom was as dirty as the room if not worse. We tried to turn the ac/fan on to see if it’d get rid of the smell but after a couple of minutes we could smell something burning and had to switch it off. There were some holes on the bed sheets and the covers. Next day, we asked for a non-smoking room to which they complied. When we entered this one, it seemed like it was better. It was slightly cleaner than the previous room. But when we came back in the evening, as soon as we opened the door, there was that smoke smell again. And the third night that we came back, the key card didn’t open the door. We had to go back to the reception and get it set again. They have a breakfast at a restaurant nearby but that is only until 9 in the morning, which is not practical. They should have it until 10. The breakfast is nothing to write home about anyway. At the reception, we dealt with two guys. The day shift guy was more friendly than the other one. The night shift guy was plain rude and disinterested. I am disappointed Booked.net still keeps this hotel on the list. I want my money back.
It was located close to Newark Airport and the hotel shuttle bus back to the airport ran on time - if only every half hour. The morning staff were helpful in providing a hair drier for my wife's use when requested.
We thought music playing late came from a neighboring establishment but the absence of such a venue meant it must have been coming from another guest's room. It would have been nice to have a hot drink and maybe a muffin or cookies available for guests departing before the complementary breakfast venue opened.
